Coffee break with style

I don’t get to do this very often but recently my company just purchased a coffee machine (Barrista) for our new cafeteria.

I’m no coffee drinker but with this machine sitting there in the cafeteria, I know I’ve just gotta give it a try. A guess what? I’m loving it!

Coffee break is no longer the same with this brilliant gadget which cost about RM22K sitting there in the cafeteria.

I had coffee break just now, infact I had two! What did you do? :p

Birthday Buffet Lunch

It’s the monthly birthday celebration again and this time we have 10 people celebrating their birthdays on the month of August.

So it’s another day for free buffet lunch and it’s getting pretty boring. We’ve been fed the same hotel food for the last 3 weeks during some official meetings.

But this time round, the buffet lunch was served in our office new cafeteria which is equipped with two 42″ plasma TV.

It was a short afternoon, candles were blown and lunch was served. After today, we’ll be going off on a 2 weeks break. The next buffet lunch will be for the month of September.

Happy Birthday

Me cute or not?

OMG, I get so irritated lately when someone (especially girls) comes up to me and ask me one of the most difficult question in the world.

“Am I cute?”

“Me cute or not?”

Or else instead of asking, they’ll shamelessly make statements like these…

“I know I’m cute!”

“I cute leh!”

“I AM CUTE!”

Ok, not that they don’t know the definitition of CUTE but these people definitely DO NOT know the definition of SHAME.

I do admire self-confidence but not vainness. It’s good to tell yourself that you look great and all but we do it quietly and only to yourself. Not to the whole wide world.

Look, let’s get this straight. You are cute when we or some other people said so, not you tell us so! That’s how it works!

STOP ANNOYING ME!

Extreme ‘photoshopping’ may cost you your job

We all the fact by now that, Adnan Hajj, ex-photojournalist for Reuter, manipulated at least some of his photographs before submitting them to the wire service. Adnan has been fired because of his action of altering some of his photos causing Reuter to withdrew 920 photos from him.

Why? Adnan Hajj faked at least two photos and submitted them to Reuters. After Reuter found out the fake photos, Adnan was immediately fired.

Yet in another case, Charlotte Observer photographer Patrick Schneider has lost his job too for manipulating the colors in a photo that appeared in their Thursday’s newspaper.

So from today onwards, do be careful the next time you manipulate a photo. It may cost you your job :P

Why we suck … BIG TIME?!

There’s been plenty of criticism going around banging on FAM on how bad they did. Honestly, we are pretty bad as our FIFA ranking keep rising every year. Even the Ethiopians have better ranking than we do.

Malay Mail

As if it’s not bad enough, we are beginning to lose good imported players. The news of Juan Manuel Arostegui leaving MPPJ Selangor came quite a shocker to all of us.The question that came to my mind was, “why buy so many players when you can’t afford the pay them?”. Malay Mail sports editor, Mustapha Kamaruddin wrote an article recently criticising the public and urge the public to give a more constructive criticism on Malaysian football instead of just blaming it all on FAM. I agree, but we definitely don’t need a good constructive criticism for this. Just like the old saying in cantonese, Mou kham tai ko thao chow mou dai kham tai ko mow (if you don’t have a big head, don’t wear such a big hat). It’s just simply bad for any club if the players make it to the public when they are not paid for months.
I’m not a big critic but I do admit that sometimes I do throw some negative comments about Malaysian team. I even supported MyTeam when they were playing against the Malaysia national team. So what are we gonna do about it? What can we do to help Malaysian football? I’m no strategic planner too so I can’t really contribute to the future of Malaysian football, but I’ve done a few analising myself.Let’s take one of the Asian football country that played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, JFA for instance. Why and how did they managed to go so far? How come you see more Malaysians wearing JFA jerseys but not FAM jerseys?

The whole organisation structure is just so…so…….really…I dunnoooo whatttt to say.

Here’s another reason why…
