My colleagues have been playing futsal every evening since the beginning of March and everytime they asked me to join, I turn them down giving excuses that I have no shoe so and so. Or sometimes I rather go play basketball instead of futsal.

I’ve tried playing football back in school days but I sucked at it. Since then I’ve never set foot in a football field. Few years back I did try getting down with futsal but that too I suck at it. I knew then that I’m just ‘kaki bangku’. But I love sports, though I’m never really good in it, I still enjoy sweating it out playing the sports that I like. So I’ve decided to give futsal another try.

Got my free pair of Nike Futsal shoes from office weeks ago and I’m finally gonna put it to good use…hopefully. So I replied the email from my colleague telling him that I will be joining them this evening. Minutes later, I saw an email sent out to everyone in the office with the subject line, “News of the Day….Galvin is playing Futsal today! Media are coming to cover the event… ” FUK!
