OMFG, It’s 2007!

Yea yea… I didn’t miss 2007 but I did miss out blogging lately. After my company’s big event and all the hoo haa during the last few days of working, we finally got our long deserved 2 weeks holiday. Yes it’s 2 weeks and it’s a compulsory leave. Though having 2 weeks off is cool but it’s not always as good. Our annual leave is usually near year end or rather during peak season so travelling anywhere is really a killer. Lucky for me, I spent most of my 2 weeks leave up in Penang
Lemme summarise 4 weeks of blogging into a single post…
So what happened through the end of December 2006? Well, after the Asian Cup final draw in KLCC Convention Centre on the 19th, we had our company dinner on the 21st. Lucky for me, I was one of the organising committee member and we get to do more work instead of enjoying the dinner night. Thank God everything is over now and we were really happy that the event was a job well done. (Clap clap….give myself a pat on my back)
I was up north in Penang for a quiet Christmas and I kinda enjoy it. Bought Julea a spanking brand new Nokia 7373 La’Amour Collection and she was really happy with it. I’m a happy boy when my baby is happy too
Drove back with Julea and Yen for a weekend in KL and to celebrate the dawning of 2007 with a bunch of my beloved friends. We got an EXECUTIVE SUITE…yes…E.X.C.U.T.I.V.E SUITE (yes yes… you need a keycard to access to that level :p ) in PNB Darby Park just to catch a glimpse of the much talk about fireworks show in KLCC park. It has got a wonderful view of the whole KL but sadly this year’s fireworks display in KLCC park is not as great as it used to be.

The fireworks display quite a disappointment. It only lasted for about 5-6 minutes. What follows after that was so much more interesting. It’s like once in a year kind of affair… everyone getting drunk! We had plenty of booze that night and we lost count of how many bottles we drank.
We started off with Malibu+pineapple juice and it hit the sweet spot immediately although some people call it a pussy drink… who cares!? We are drunk and we are happy.

We have plenty more lining up after that.

The party goes on with more drinking games and it was scary… so scary until David and Hou Wen went missing until I found them hiding in the closet.

It was definitely another memorable new year’s eve for all of us and we hope there’s more to come for everyone. I shall continue the rest in my next post.
Happy New Year everyone!
