No to ‘Fa Cai’

Say no to fa cai. Apparently the fa cai we’ve been consuming in our vegetarian dishes especially during CNY is not so fa cai (prosperous) after all. According to a research group in Hong Kong, consuming black moss or better known as fa cai or fatt choy in cantonese could lead to degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and dementia. I usually don’t eat fatt choy often but once in awhile during CNY. Gosh, this is scary.

Fuck the office Internet connection!

I spent like almost 10 minutes blogging this morning and I lost everything! Thanks to the lousy crappy Internet connection in my office!

I’ve never seen such a crappy ICT team in such a big organisation in my entire life! Can you believe it, we have Streamyx, Maxis broadband, Digi broadband, this band that band, this myx that myx and we had to choose a stupid wireless broadband! And we spent like almost half a million every year on these facilities. Like WTF!

We’re just a few kilometres away from Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) and yet our Internet connection is the lousiest I’ve ever experienced. Boy, I’m furious… I’m terribly annoyed… I can’t even open my webmail inbox this morning. I need to fucking throw my tantrum on someone or some corporation! Who who who? TM Net, MDC or the Malaysian positive outlook on saying ‘Malaysia Boleh!’ ?

3 tragic moments

It was a frustrating enough to be stuck in a jam caused by kaypo motorists and passersby, but to actually come across 3 terrible (2 were fatal… I think) accidents within a week is really really upsetting. All of these 3 accident victims are motorcyclists.

First incident happened right nearby my office in Bukit Jalil when a motorbike ramped into a Naza Ria. This was the day before Thaipusam holiday. Didn’t want to cause any traffic jam so I proceed to my destination only to catch a glimpse of a victim lying motionless on the road and the other was sitting on the roadside pavement drenched in blood.

Second incident happened along the Federal Highway somewhere in between Subang Jaya and Klang. I was on the way back that night and was annoyed with yet another traffic jam. I was pretty sure it was a fatal one as I saw a newspaper covered body on the road with policemen everywhere. As usual, flocks of kaypos parked their cars along the highway on the opposite direction just to worsen the jam.

And today I came across yet another bottleneck along Federal Highway because of another accident. It was on the motorbike lane so I assumed that the victim is a motorcyclist. I hope it’s not a fatal one but I saw plenty of policemen and PLUS officers at the scene of accident. Should be fatal then… sigh.

CNY is around the corner and I really hope not to see anymore of such terrible accident. My pledge to all motorists is to drive and ride carefully whenever you’re on the road. Don’t be selfish, starting thinking for your loved ones!

iPhony

Ok, as much I hate to say this, whenever something is famous, surely someone will come up with something to defame it. Here’s a video some moron came up with to defame the much talkabout Apple iPhone. I don’t care what people have to say, I still love iphone and I’ll definitely get one when it’s available here in Malaysia.

Well, screw it with some moron who doesn’t know how to appreciate good stuff. I’m a true Mac lover and at least I will look cool with an iPhone, unlike those who people who most likely to be looking blue with their Microsoft smartphone… oh…sorry… looking more like a blue screen to me.

Oh yeah, there’s once people said that Windows 95 is actually Mac OS ‘82!
