The date is out and the banners are up. I can feel the election mood is here again. So it’s time again for you to exercise your right as a Malaysian, VOTE!

It’s amazing how fast these people can get the banners up at just the blink of an eye. One minute there’s nothing there, the next minute…. poof!… just like a magic show… banners here and there, buntings everywhere, party flags at popping up from places you never thought they can put up! All these just to get your your attention and your vote.

Well, I was in Subang the yesterday and I was really impressed how fast these people put up the banners (I don’t recall seeing any flags or buntings on Friday night). You can see different parties with different flags and banners but what really caught my attention wasn’t the banners or the flags, it was something else. RUBBISH!

Yes, what a sight for sore eyes, I know.

I don’t recall seeing that area being a rubbish dump. I can only assume that the workers/contractors who are there to put up these banners had forgotten to clean up after their break.

This is before the election, I dare not think of what will happen after the election. Well, probably NOTHING.

As from today onwards, I’m gonna VOTE FOR CLEANLINESS!

Ok, I’m annoyed… really annoyed!

CJ7 by Stephen Chow is out since before CNY and now CNY came and gone, I haven’t watch it yet. Well, it’s ok. I can go watch some other time… hopefully soon.

Now the other movie I wanted to catch badly is Jumper. I just got back from Penang this morning and I have the whole afternoon ahead, not knowing what to do. So I decided to call up my friends and asked if they wanna go catch a movie. Guess what? They are already in the mall now waiting to catch a JUMPER!!?!? Like WTF?!?! They didn’t even bother to call me and ask if I wanna watch, and all this while I’ve been that idiot that waited for them go watch together. Fine!

I’m a big fan of Stephen Chow and I’ve watched all his movies. Now it doesn’t matter how good or bad his movie is, I just want to watch it!!!! READ MY LIPS! I WANT TO WATCH HIS MOVIE, DON’T FUCKING CARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE SHOW! IN A CINEMA! Even if I have to watch it ALONE!

Enough of being Mr. Nice Guy, I’m not gonna fucking wait for anyone to go watch any movie in the future. When I wanna watch it, I’ll go watch it, myself!

The year of the mouse ushers a different beginning into my new year. It was a different ‘Chor Yat‘ or ‘Chuay It‘ (1st day of CNY) for me this year. I spent most of my day at home with my family. It’s also the first time I did not touch a single deck of card on the first day of Chinese New Year.

Gambling during CNY is a norm in Malaysia. We chinese gamble quite a bit during this festive season to ’see’ what luck lies ahead of us this year. Well, I definitely get to see my luck and it’s pretty good because I did not lose any money

Spent the rest of my day having dinner with some family and friends and movie after that. It was definitely a different CNY for me this time. Perhaps I’m getting… older :p

I’m pretty sure its gonna be my last year that I’m gonna be receiving ang pows from my family and relatives.

According to some people, the year of ‘Mickey’ is good for us Dragons. I’m getting pretty skeptical will all these feng shui and fortune hoo haa but I’m really hoping this year it will bring a carry truth in it.

Oh ya, I lost my phone and my entire phone list recently. So to some of my friends, if you did not receive any forwarded festive sms greetings from me, it’s not that I’ve forgotten you or do not put you in heart, it’s because I can’t. But anyways, here’s wishing every Gong Xi Fa Cai, Kong Hey Fatt Choy and Kiong Hee Huat Chai!
