Ahmad Ismail suspended. RPK jailed.

Seriously, what is Internal Security Act (ISA) all about? I don’t see it serves any purpose at all. Well, at least not to me. Or perhaps it’s just another government body for certain individual or party to manipulate code of ethics?

Bukit Bendera MP, Datuk Ahmad Ismail made a racist remark against the Malaysian Chinese and it was a big issue. BN had an emergency meeting. Umno had a Supreme Council meeting. Umno suspended Datuk Ahmad Ismail from the party for three years and stripped him of all his posts and membership rights. PM made the announcement and the punishment takes effect immediately!

Yeah…Big deal!

RPK wants to expose the truth. He made political remarks and accusations of the government. The government took him in and he was in jail for awhile. He was then released. Weeks later, the governmen decided to block his blog MALAYSIA-TODAY.NET from Malaysian readers. RPK decided to branch out and mirror-ed his blog to other servers where Malaysian readers can access. Today, he was arrested by ISA.

Months ago, a few indian lawyers gathered in front of the British High Comm. They wanted to present a letter to them. They too got arrested by the ISA. If I’m not mistaken, they are still in jail now.

Datuk Ahmad Ismail getting only a 3 years suspension, it’s like a holiday for him while others have to suffer behind bar.

So, is this justice?

Honestly, I’m disappointed. I think if they want to have a serious discussion, they have to first prove that they know what they are talking about. And Sir, respectfully, at this task, they have failed. I’ve been very fortunate to be able to watch them shit in their panties about this whole thing, only to have the whole thing disputed. You know, it’s really nice that they are having a nice open public shit eating contest like this.

Typically, these “peoples” occupy positions of large influence (or they believe they have influence, at least) and they pontificate their opinions that show they don’t have any idea how anything works. So what’s the answer? I say fux ‘em all.

ISA is just a damn tool similar to political blackmail of non BN people for them to use when they are in vain like when on the verge of losing their political power - say as Sept 16 is very very near.. They don’t care if the citizens view it as fair or otherwise.. The only hope we have is for DSAI to really do something about it and blast these evil people to the moon or something..
