My new toy – Panasonic LUMIX FS15

Yes, this brand new DMC-LUMIX FS15 is my new toy and I’m loving it.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS15

Although there’s nothing to shout about, I’m always excited to get new gadgets. This FS15 is not the top or the range from the LUMIX line but it is definitely one of the best… for the price I’m paying for. I got it for such a good deal that I cannot reveal the price here. And no, it’s not stolen goods nor a fake :p

We bought quite a number of these babies so we managed to squeeze in another 4GB SD card each from the supplier. It comes in 3 colours; Silver, Black and I got myself the sexy aqua blue :)

The DMC-LUMIX FS15 is buffed up with 12.1 megapixels and it can go really wide with it’s 29mm DC LEICA lens. If I need to get closer, I get up to 5x optical zoom. Slimpacked with a 2.7 inch LCD display screen and a whole lot of sophisticated yet easy to use functions, this baby only weigh 136g… awesome!

I was told a fairy tale…

One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.

But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

The End

Bah Kut Teh Noodle at Woolley Food City, Ipoh Garden

Believe it of not, I finally found a good Bah Kut Teh stall out of Klang.

I was in Ipoh for a day trip with my in-laws. We headed up north around 12 pm. By the time we reach Ipoh, it was already way past 2 pm, everyone was starving. We headed straight for lunch at our favourite place, Woolley Food City.

Now I’ve been to this place many times already but I’ve never tried other stalls except for a selected few. I came across a Bah Kut Teh stall, not sure whether it’s a new stall or not, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a bowl of Bah Kut Teh Noodle.

Unlike the usual rice and pork, this unusual combo came as quite a surprise to me. Especially when they use ‘Yee Mee’ which is very tasteful alone. I asked for more lean meat as I don’t really fancy those fatty ones. I paid RM4.50 for it.

Now remember, I’m from Klang and I’ve been eating Klang BKT for quite a while now. I can never really accept any BKT flavour other than those from Klang.

Bah Kut Teh noodle

The soup taste as good as those served in Klang. The meat is rather nice too. Not too fatty and not too lean. I don’t usually fancy any veges in my BKT dishes, they kinda dilute the taste. But this being a bowl of noodle instead, I guess a little vege won’t hurt.

Too my surprise, I like it. I enjoyed it so much I finished every drop of it!

Now if you fancy trying this in Ipoh, you can head over to Woolley Food City  in Ipoh Garden. You can find out the actual location via  Google Map.

Do drop by this place the next time you’re in Ipoh. Besides BKT, there’s plenty of other good food too.

Pre-wedding photo shoot

You can never ever be prepared for a day like this. No matter how many times you practise your smiles in front of the mirror, how many months you go on a diet, and how many more hours you have to sleep to get rid of the eye bags, you’ll just never be ready this moment. Trust me.

Pre-wedding photo shoots are not for everyone. First of all, it’s seriously damn tiring. Then you’re asked to twist and turn your body and your neck to a position you never imagine could. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever twisted my neck so many times in my entire adult life.

Pre-wedding photo shoot: Jhun positioning us for the camera.

We took up a package with Redsense from Loke Yew during a wedding expo in Midvalley some time ago. They are pretty professional, is rather decent place charging quite a decent price.

Our photographer, Jhun don’t converse in English very well and thought that he might have a problem with us especially when we don’t speak good mandarin as well too. But we found out later that Jhun  too was from BM and speaks hokkien as well. So it was quite easy telling him what we want after that. However, it was not as easy doing what he wants us to do.

The indoor shoots took quite a while till late afternoon. By the time we’re done, it was raining cats and dogs out side. So, we had to postponed out outdoor shoot to the next weekend.

I think I will enjoy the next outdoor  session as I will be in casual wear. No matter what, I’m glad that I did this. I’ll be damn if I let go of this opportunity… Julea looks stunning.

“I just farted”

I love shopping in Jusco,  especially over at the grocery section. The buzzing crowd and the smell of freshly baked cakes and buns never fail to put a smile on my face.  What happened last night in Jusco deserves an entry in my blog.

As we’re heading towards the car park, the girls decided to grab some cereals. There’s no long queue, every counter was quite a breeze actually. While waiting for them to get their change, I was  rudely put off by a foul smell coming from this lady standing beside me. For a moment, I felt that she was rather rude to pass wind in a crowded place but when I saw her baby quietly sleeping in the pram, I knew then that the stench could be coming from the pram. I smiled :)

Not sure if the lady is aware of the situation,  I wanted to inform her. But before I could step in, I heard a giggle from Julea and she happily whispered into my ear, “Sorry love, I just farted. Hehe”

I walked away, tearing as was trying to hold back my laughter!

I was about to accuse a nice lady and her baby of being ill-mannered when it was my beloved Julea who can’t hold her flatulence!

And this is why I love her so much… all her little imperfections that made her so perfect… for me.
