March 2, 2010: Steve Jobs appears on stage to present the new iPad 2 with a whole new line of goodies.



Two cameras for FaceTime and HD video recording. The dual-core A5 chip. The same 10-hour battery life. All in a thinner, lighter design. Now iPad is even more amazing. And even less like anything else.

Pricing

The new iPad will be offered at the same price points as the original: starting at $499 for Wi-Fi-only and $629 for 3G. The iPad 2 will be available on either the AT&T (T, Fortune 500) network or on Verizon (VZ, Fortune 500).

Apple said the new tablet will ship on March 11. It will be available in both black and white versions.
