So here we have it, Apple announces their latest ‘resolutionary’ tablet and so what?
Well, if you’re a techie, you’ll definitely dive into the technical aspect of this gadget. But for an average Joe, this New iPad means nothing to them. I’m not gonna go all technical with all the complex jargon but rather provide you with a brainless guide to all the buzz on the new ipad.
So, here’s FIVE REASONS why you should consider getting the New iPad… in Layman’s Term.
The cool factor has always been the selling point of all Apple products. Be it the Macbook or even the Mighty Mouse, if you have it, you’ve got it… the cool factor that’s it. The new iPad may not be any different as compared to the original iPad and iPad 2, but it is definitely the newest and may most likely be the most powerful Tablet in the market… for now. If you’re dad with teenage kids, you’ll definitely be in their A-list after purchasing the new iPad. If you’re a teenage college student and you have the new iPad, you’ll be the subject matter in college for the next few months.
Sharper display means clearer display. Things appear sharper in the new iPad with its new Retina Display. That crappy photo you took with your lousy compact cam will look like a pro in the new iPad. Everything you do with iPad, you do through its large, beautiful display. And when the display is better, the entire iPad experience is better. The new iPad has four times the number of pixels in iPad 2 and a million more than an HDTV.
With the new A5x chip, the new iPad is like classy and unique Beetle with Porsche engine under its hood. Your gaming experience will be much better especially when you engage in one of those 3D graphically intense game. You’ll be glad that it’ll have the same smoothness and fluidity iPad is known for. And when you need to switch to another App, just hit the Home button and it’s ready to go.
Now with iSight, the new 5-megapixel camera on the new iPad, you’ll have the capability to record HD videos in full 1080p. What’s 1080p and what’s HD? Well, that’s like recording your weekend by the beach and enjoy it’s realistic views again during the weekdays… at home through the new iPad. You’re weekend picnic videos will no longer look amateurish and you can even venture into becoming a film director.
What’s with the G? 3G and 4G, what the difference? Well, in telecommunications, 4G is the fourth generation of cellular wireless standards. It is a successor of the 3G and 2G families of standards. 4G will provide you with the best Internet experience you’ve ever tried. Your Google search comes out instantaneously. Enjoy smooth stream while watching your favourite video clips on YouTube and many more you can think of. To put it into easier perspective, 4G is definitely faster than your current basic home broadband speed.
Surely, the price if another reason you should consider getting the new iPad but I don’t really see it as a reason to mention. They are plenty more cheaper and larger screen tablets in the market so the price could be cheaper than the new iPad. But for one things for sure, the starting price for the new iPad remains the same as the iPad 2 when it was first launched.
For those existing iPad onwers, you may consider for an upgrade to the new iPad. As for the iPad 2 owners, keep your existing iPad 2 unless you really can’t resist it. As for those who are looking to own their first iPad, the new iPad is a much buy.
