RON97 Silently Increased by 30 cents to RM3.00

September 6, 2012 by Galvin Tan in Daily Rants with 0 Comments

So it’s true, price for RON97 has been silently hiked up by 30 cents to RM3.00. This confirmation came about after I received a reply email from Shell Customer Service Centre. They confirmed that the price for RON97 has increased to RM3.00 effective September 6, 2012.

Rumours have been circulating since late last night on Facebook and Twitter but there wasn’t any confirmation on any local news site. The current price for RON95 is still at RM1.80 and Diesel too remains unchanged.

I’m sticking to RON95 for now and I hope there won’t be any increase of price any time soon.
