The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch “Retina HD” display and is nearly a millimeter thinner than its predecessor while the iPhone 6 Plus will have a 5.5-inch display. Both iPhones will be powered with Apple’s new A8 processor and M8 sub-processor.

Both new iPhones, which comes in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB varieties, will be available in gold, white and “space gray”. The iPhones will be available on sale in the United States on September 19 with preorders begin on Friday.

Apple Watch

Apple also unveiled its first wearable gadget but it’s not the iWatch. Instead, it’s called the Apple Watch. Apple Watch features a Retina display (protected by sapphire crystal in some models) and is filled with sensors that can track everything from your heart rate to daily activities and exercise. Just like many Android based smartwatch in the market, the Apple Watch too needs to pair along with an iPhone to gain its full functionality.

The display is a touchscreen and comes equipped with a special “digital crown” that can be used for navigating around apps and also functions as a home button for the watch’s interface.

Apple Watch will come in two different sizes and three different collections — the Watch, Watch Sport and Watch Edition, each of which uses a different finish. Apple Watch comes in a stainless steel finish, Watch Sport is made of “lightweight anodized aluminum” and Watch Edition is 18-karat gold.

Apple Watch will begin at $349 and is expected to go on sale in early 2015.
