iWant iPhone

It’s been months now the speculation on how the new Apple iPhone will look like. Well, speculate no more because the long anticipated Apple iPhone is finally revealed and I love it. The heck with Nokia and Sony Ericcson phones, I need to get my hands on this baby.

iPhone

Apple totally reinvent the mobile phone by introducing the iPhone. iPhone is sort of like an iPod with phone and internet-working capabilities but with lotsa FUN in it… really. If you don’t believe me, you can go to www.apple.com to read more about it or else you can just read on to what I have to say as a Mac fan.

First of all, iPhone is like this mega-huge widescreen iPod for you to listen to your favourite MP3 files and watch TV shows and movies wherever you go. With it’s 3.5-inch widescreen display, Jurassic Park lives inside this baby. With it’s touch control screen, you can easily access any application with a tap on the screen.

Making phone call is much more fun with iPhone. You can browse through address book with just a point of a finger, NO stylus needed! It also automatically syncs all your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service.. cool eh?

Well, if you think you’ve seen it all, think again. iPhone comes with Safari, the most advanced web browser on a portable device. You can also check and send email with this baby too via Wi-Fi or EDGE.

We now live in a mutimedia world and phones are getting smarter. Besides playing movie and music files, iPhone also allows you to take photos with it’s 2 megapixel built-in camera. And with its built-in advanced sensor, the iPhone’s accelerometer detects when you rotate the device from portrait to landscape, then automatically changes the contents of the display, so you immediately see the entire width of a web page or a photo in its proper landscape aspect ratio.

Ya ya… some of my friends told me you can get all the same features with a Dopod or even HP’s Ipaq but the question is… do they look as cool too? ….. NAHH!

The only downside to iPhone is the built-in camera. With a whopping 8GB built-in memory, I’m sure iPhone can afford a bigger resolution camera than the current 2 megapixel. I’m sure Apple will juice up the camera in no time. Nevertheless, iPhone may not be the smartest phone around, but it’s definitely the coolest!

First back seat SRS Airbags in Malaysia

Over the last few years, the installation of airbags in new cars has become more common with most manufacturers now fitting at least a driver’s side airbag. A number of models also have passenger and side impact airbags as optional extras. Airbags are known as Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS) and are not a substitute for the use of seatbelts. SRS Airbags are usually fitted on the front passenger and driver side. If airbags are fitted, the steering wheel cover and/or dashboard cover will usually have the words ‘airbag’ or ‘SRS airbag’ moulded into them.

I’ve just recently discovered a new back seat passenger SRS Airbags and it’s the first I’ve seen in Malaysia. It’s an universal Airbags that fit nicely into any vehicle of all sizes. Fitting a back seat SRS Airbags will definitely cost you a little extra but what’s a little damage to your wallet than someone’s precious life?

These Airbags now come with Hello Kitty theme of numerous colours and can be easily installed by anyone. Yes, it a DIY airbags. Below is an example of how the back seat SRS ‘Hello Kitty’ Airbag v.3000 works.

Coffee break with style

I don’t get to do this very often but recently my company just purchased a coffee machine (Barrista) for our new cafeteria.

I’m no coffee drinker but with this machine sitting there in the cafeteria, I know I’ve just gotta give it a try. A guess what? I’m loving it!

Coffee break is no longer the same with this brilliant gadget which cost about RM22K sitting there in the cafeteria.

I had coffee break just now, infact I had two! What did you do? :p

2 weeks ago, I got a mail sent from Buffalo, NY. Thinking that it was just another bank statement (yes, when you get to your late twenties, you’ll have plenty of mails from the bank), I chucked it aside. 2 days later, I decide to clear my pile of mails and to my surprise, the ’supposingly’ bank statement turns out to be a cheque from GOOGLE INC., issued by CITIBANK, NY!

Finally, I’ve got a decent payback from my time spent on the Internet. Well, this is not my first cheque that I’ve received. I did received a cheque for USD4.85 long time ago but I never did bother to bank in. After conversion, it’s only less than RM20 and the bank will charge me for processing fee and that will cost me RM30 for overseas cheques which totally pointless. So I never did bank in that cheque and I don’t know what happened to it now.

This time, GOOGLE or GOODGLE INC. as I like to call it now, paid me USDXXX! (Yes, it’s a 3 digit figure. I just found out that it’s against Google’s policy to display my income. So too bad :P) Which is quite a decent pay for almost a year effort.

I’m sure you have gotten your share from GOOGLE INC. as well and this is nothing new to some of you. Even though it’s a small amount, it’s definitely nice to get paid off for the effort you’ve put in.
