I’m the Book of DO Ambassador

I’m pretty excited to be selected as an ambassador for the Book of DO campaign. Representing the Art of Notebook, I’m being presented a brand new Lenovo Ideapad U310 ultrabook to share my passion of transforming thoughts, ideas and inspiration into written word on my blog.

Being an avid blogger and a young father, I’m definitely glad to be presented with such an honour, an achievement that I could only dream of years ago. Now with the Lenovo Ideapad U310 ultrabook, I hope to DO more and to inspire more people in my life.

I would like to thank Lenovo Malaysia for such an honour and for giving me this opportunity to DO more with the brand new Lenovo Ideapad U310 ultrabook.

About the Book of DO Campaign

Lenovo kicked off one of the largest coordinated marketing campaigns in Lenovo’s history – the exciting Book of DO campaign – in Malaysia, outlining a partnership with MPH book store and three young and talented Malaysians as ambassadors of the new IdeaPad U Series Ultrabooks.

The Book of DO campaign is reaching out to Malaysians through the lives of three young Malaysians who exemplify the “Arts of DO,” namely in writing, art and music. Representing “Storybook” is blogger Galvin Tan, who writes for Decoding Galvin, a popular tech and lifestyle blog. For “Sketchbook”, digital artist Yvonne Yong was selected for her beautiful and inspiring digital works of art. Last but not least, representing “Songbook” is popular DJ duo LFL, a dynamic duo that is quietly building a name for itself in the local DJ scene.

These ambassadors will be presented with a Lenovo IdeaPad U310 to share their stories and experiences using the Ultrabook. For Galvin Tan, he will be documenting his journey juggling his job, blog and being a young father, while always on the move with the U310. Yvonne Yong will use her U310 for her work as a 3D render artist, designing digital character models, backgrounds, as well as creating exclusive artwork for Lenovo. DJ duo LFL will use the U310 an essential tool in their gigs, using it to spin, mix and create music on the fly for party goers around Kuala Lumpur’s hot spots.

Their stories will be available on Lenovo Malaysia’s Facebook Fan Page at facebook.com/LenovoMY and also through their individual social networks. Look out also for exclusive content created by these ambassadors that will be shared at the same link. Additionally, the ambassadors will also be conducting a series of Arts of Do workshops over the weekend of June 23 and 24, in partnership with MPH Bookstores, where they will be sharing insights and secrets of their crafts with the public – educating and guiding Malaysians with their Books of DO.
