The Logitech Hinge is a flexible case with a smooth-gliding hinge that firmly holds your iPad in any viewing angle within a 50-degree range. Regardless of where you are and what you’re doing with your iPad – watching movies with your family, mastering that difficult yoga pose or learning a new song on your guitar – this case has a comfortable viewing angle.
The Logitech® Hinge is especially made for iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini 2 with Retina® display. It is also available in all authorized resellers nationwide for the retail price of RM159.
The Logitech Type+ is the all-in-one case providing protection and an integrated keyboard for your iPad Air 2. It leverages the popular thin and light, two-sided protective case from its predecessor, and has a recently-optimized Bluetooth keyboard that is designed to replicate the typing experience of your laptop, so you can smoothly transition from one device to another without losing speed or accuracy. When in the typing position, the iPad screen magnetically attaches directly above the keyboard, keeping the screen right at your fingertips for easy navigation.
I’m particularly impressed with the long battery life for the Type+. On a single charge, the Type+ keyboard can last till 3 months, of course with an average usage of 2 hours a day. Even if last less than 3 months, any mobile electronic devices that last more than 1 month is consider very impressive.
The Logitech Type+ is designed specifically for the Apple iPad Air 2 and it is available now at the retail price of RM329.
“Enter The Afghan”, that would be the title of the movie if I’m ever the director of this movie – if it’s real or if it’s ever gonna happen. This 20-year old Afghan is not just a splitting image of the legend Bruce Lee; he’s also striking some kungfu poses like him too.
This young Afghan, who trains in the ruins of a bombed-out palace in Kabul, is recently an Internet hit when photos and videos of him performing back flips and doing the nunchuks are posted on a Facebook called Bruce Hazara, which the nickname is given to him by his friends. His recent success in at a martial arts tournament in Kabul is another reason why he’s fast gaining some fans.
Abbas Alizada comes from a poor family of 10 children and he wants to be a champion in his country and hopefully one day be a Hollywood star.
I looked and I looked again, I can’t deny Abbas Alizada here looks hauntingly similar to the legend Bruce Lee. From his bowl haircut to his physique, from his stances and tight fitting singlet, he could easily pass as Bruce’s stunt double, if he ever needs one. The only thing giving away is his movement. Giving all the similarity, he is still not as fast and swift as the legend Bruce Lee.
Here’s some videos of him in action:

Forget about flexible display and curved bezel screen. This 5-inch display smartphone from SHARP is literally bezel-less! Yes, you heard me right, it’s bezel-less and it’s from SHARP. Not a common name in the industry but Sharp has officially made its claim for a piece of the Android pie.
Sharp announced the Sharp Aquos Crystal more than 3 months back but I just had to share this. Although Sharp isn’t particularly well-known for making smartphones in the industry, but it is a major supplier of LCDs. Sharp has taken the standard candy-bar form and pushed the display all the way up to the top, creating a device with basically no bezel on the top and sides, which looks extremely slick.
The Crystal is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 with 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. While it’s not something you should be excited about, the 720p device will definitely be a great conversation piece during dinner.
And with a price tag of on $239 off-contract, the Crystal is yet to make its appearance in Malaysian market.

What more can I say, U Mobile just gets better and better every day. The most dynamic and innovative telco is staying true to their commitment by extending their partnership with two leading network solutions providers – ZTE Corporations and Huawei Technologies.
U Mobile recently announced an aggressive expansion strategy to strengthen its network through the roll-out of 1,000 3G and 1,000 4G LTE sites worth up to RM1.5 billion of total investment. Through this partnership, both ZTE and Huawei are chosen to be the preferred partners to rollout U Mobile’s landmark network expansion due to their track record of being one of the leading global telecommunication solutions providers with extensive experience in the field and state-of-the-art technology and network.
I can understand why U Mobile is putting so much trust on their partners.
ZTE Corporation has a global presence in 160 countries, and is one of the industrial leaders in network technology innovation, delivering superior business products and business solutions to its clients around the world. Huawei Technologies on the other has well established end-to-end capabilities for various network carriers, enterprise and consumer markets by providing competitive solutions and services that have been deployed in over 170 countries and regions, serving more than one-third of the world’s population.
Huawei is also the first Chinese brand to enter Top-100 Interbrand list. That is quite an accomplishment..
U Mobile officially inked the partnership in the presence of YB Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Minister of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia, as well as Madam Ma Jia, Chargé d’affaires a.i. & Minister Counsellor, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia. This partnership also celebrates the four decades of diplomatic relationship between Malaysia and the People’s Republic of China, attesting to the strong ties between the two nations.Photo #1 caption: (from left to right) Steven Ge, Chief Executive Officer of ZTE Corporation Malaysia, Wong Heang Tuck, Chief Executive Officer of U Mobile Sdn Bhd, and Abraham Liu, Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Technologies Malaysia shaking hands to solidify the momentous partnership between U Mobile with ZTE Corporation and Huawei Technologies. BenQ has officially join the bandwagon with their first range of 4G LTE smartphones.
BenQ, which apparently stands for “Bringing Enjoyment ‘N’ Quality to Life” is a world-leading human technology and solutions provider aiming to elevate and enrich every aspect of consumer’s lives. Well, at least that’s what written on their profile.
But to many of us growing up in the PC era, BenQ is better known for their IT equipments. If you still have an old PC at home, take a look at the CD/DVD-rom drive, it’s probably a BenQ brand.
BenQ ventures bravely into the Malaysian market by bringing in two of their newest 4G LTE smartphones to the consumers, the 5-inch F5 and 4.5-inch T3. While the smartphones are different in size, these smartphones are equipped with QHD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz quad-core processor and are running on Android 4.4 KitKat. Being the new kids on the block, these new smartphones from BenQ truly raises an eyebrow – for the kind of specs they are offering, it’s pretty amazing to see how they can actually lower down the cost of the phones.
Both of the BenQ smartphones boast a couple of features that are quite unique. The 4x ultra sensitivity mode feature on the F5 anf T3 is an innovative technology developed by BenQ that enhances picture quality in various light settings. A killer feature when taking photos in low-light condition. While the F5 packs a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 13-megapixel rear camera, the T3 is no short of decent pixels too bragging a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel VGA front camera.
Blue light can be harmful to our eyes and may cause age-related macular degeneration which can lead to significant vision loss. BenQ is well aware of this issue and therefore incorporated into the F5 and T3 a feature to minimize blue light exposure with the low blue light technology.
As for memory, the F5 is beefed up with a 16GB internal storage with 2GB RAM while the T3 has only 4GB internal storage with 1GB RAM. However, both phones supports microSD slot and expandable up to 64GB of storage space.
Built quality if commendable. Their rigid form feels really comfortable in the palm of my hand. What I like most of these smartphones are the anti-slip plastic cover on the back. It gives the phones a matte and sophisticated look while staying firm in our grip.
The F5 is now available at RM699 and the T3 is retailing at RM499.
