The prices for the new iPad in Malaysia are out. So if you’re planning to get your new iPad today, you can try to get one from Machines, Apple Malaysia’s Premium Reseller which has got 8 outlets across Peninsular Malaysia. According to Machines’ Facebook event page, the new iPad will be available at all Machines outlets except for Gardens and Johor Bahru. Machines will start selling the new iPad beginning today, from 10 am to 10 pm or while stock last.

As announced by Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc. earlier in March, the baseline unit will be the same as the iPad 2 when it first launched more than a year ago. So the baseline unit for the 16GB WiFi will be RM1,499. It’s really quite a steal and I’m definitely gonna get one for myself. However, I’ll probably get in through Apple Store Online and wait for 1-2 weeks for my new iPad to arrive.

Maxis Berhad today announced that, beginning 20 April 2012, it will offer a range of attractive data plans for the new iPad.  According to Maxis, these plans take advantage of Maxis’ recent and widespread network upgrades using “HSPA+ Dual Carrier” technology, doubling the download and websurfing performance previously available.

The third generation iPad, which features a stunning new Retina display, Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics, is due to launch here in Malaysia tomorrow. The New iPad is also built with the latest in wireless technology and will let you connect to fast data networks around the world, including Maxis.

Having said that, I sure hope that Maxis can live up to our expectation with their new data plans especially when consumers nowadays are demanding for more speed on their mobile devices.

Apple today officially announced that the next batch of the new iPad will be making its way to twelve countries beginning with South Korea on April 20. Nine more countries will see the second round on April 27 including Malaysia.

Well, if you’re a techie, you’ll definitely dive into the technical aspect of this gadget. But for an average Joe, this New iPad means nothing to them. I’m not gonna go all technical with all the complex jargon but rather provide you with a brainless guide to all the buzz on the new ipad.
