Was trying to connect via TweetDeck and then TwitterFox, both didn’t work and was returning an error. Then I tried logging-in via Twitter website and that didn’t work too.

Apparently, I’ve been logged out from Twitter due to too many failed attempts! WTF?

After a quick check on Google, I found out that this problem is quite common. Many users got locked out suddenly just like me. I proceed to reset my password and it was working after that… for the browser based Twitter only. Now I can’t login to TwitterFox and TweetDeck with the new password I’ve just resetted. WTFx2!!!

For anyone who got locked out from Twitter just like me. Don’t panic, I will tell you how to regain your Twitter account.

First, go back to your Twitter page via the web browser and try to sign in. When prompt to enter your login details, click the ‘Forgot Password’ link and this will send generate an password reset link to your email account. Click on the reset link, key in your new password and you’re done!

Do bear in mind that you can only sign-in to your web-based Twitter account at the moment. Any attempt to log-in via app-based (TweetDeck, TwitterFox & Twitterific)  twitter will be rejected.

LATEST UPDATE!
I’ve just resetted my password and was able to access my account for a while. After clicking the logout button and trying to log back in, I got locked out again!!! WTFx3!!!!
