The 16GB will be selling at S$948 while the 32GB is going at S$1088. If you’re ready for the cream of the crop, then you can settle for the 64GB with a price tag of S$1238.
Based on the current currency exchange (xe.com), the price for the 16GB is RM2364, 32GB for RM2713 and the 64GB will cost us Malaysians a whopping RM3086.
Both Black/Slate and While/Silver models are offered but it doesn’t look like anyone can make any booking yet via the online store. Perhaps Apple Singapore is still sorting things up. The online store was taken down couple of times earlier today before it finally went back up.
Also a short note to everyone that the unlocked iPhone 5 may not support LTE networks in all other countries; so it’s best that you contact your local service providers for details.
Then again, Malaysians who are waiting impatiently for the iPhone 5 to reach Malaysian shores do not need to rush to get one from Singapore. Even with the iPhone 5 in your hand right now, you won’t be able to use it yet. Yes, iPhone 5 do not work with simply any sim card, it will need the Nano sim and no, you can’t trim it.
As for now, Malaysian telcos are scrambling for Nano Sim and hope they have it ready before iPhone 5 hits Malaysia.
