Hal Lasko, fondly known as Hal or Grandpa, a former graphic designer, draftsman in the Army and typographer, creates these magnificent art pieces using only a mouse and MS Paint… on Windows 95! He was first introduced to the software by his family, long after he retired.
While many professional graphic designers will never consider MS Paint to be the preferred tool for creating great artwork, Hal proved that, with the simplest tool and a little creativity, you can create wonders.
His work, described as a “collision of pointillism and 8-Bit art”, has recently been on show in an art exhibition. Prints of his work can also be bought on his website.
