I love this one bro... it's really meaningful the way he described what life should be instead of having a big title and earning big bucks
Bill Watterson is my favourite cartoonist of all time and Calvin and Hobbes is perhaps one of the best comic strip ever. I’ve been a big fan of Bill Watterson since the 90s, and I’ve never grew tired of reading Calvin and Hobbes over and over again.
I believe there’s a Calvin in all of us, and that’s what Bill has been trying to show us all this while. And here’s a great comic strip by Gavin Aung Than inspired by Watterson’s graduation speech at his alma mater, Kenyon College in 1990. An inspiring story that tell us to follow our dreams. Something that many of us can relate. I know I can since I’m now a stay-at-home-dad with a dog. Although it has been tough, being able to spend more time with my little girl has indeed been joyful. I’m glad I took the trouble.
Kudos to Gavin Aung Than for such a great re-creation of Bill’s work.
