WD, a Western Digital company, has founded the Storage Products Association (SPA) with other hard drive players in the industry, with the aim to promote the merits and value of rotating magnetic storage technologies. It is also a channel to educate consumers and professionals on how the critical roles hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid-state hybrid drives (SSHDs) play in their digital lives.
In addition, SPA also helps storage manufacturers and users understand and support current and future storage needs; providing a better picture of how hard disk drives (HDDs) and solid state hybrid drives are effective storage mix for all consumer and business environments.
